Before venturing into private practice, Dr. Fisher completed an extensive educational path. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for his Doctor of Medicine before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University - Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. During his final year there, he was chief resident.
Dr. Fisher then completed fellowship training in sports medicine at Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Institute in Incline Village, Nevada. Since then, he has stayed abreast of the latest advancements in his field with memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Georgia State Medical Society.
Dr. Fisher specializes in treating conditions of the ankle, elbow, hand and wrist, shoulder, and knee.
